McKinsey's cost engineering experience is provided via an easy-to-use target cost calculation software called Cleansheet Solution. Our Cleansheet Solution is one of the main digital assets in the Product Development and Procurement practice within McKinsey Operations. Whether they make aircraft seats, optical switches, pizzas, or watches, companies in almost any industry can benefit from Design-to-Value (DtV) and cost modeling. With the focus on the cost-benefit ratio, DtV strengthens customer value while helping cut time to market, and in some cases by up to 50%, dramatically reducing product costs. Cleansheet Solution makes it easier to establish cost transparency, analyze the cost drivers, calculate the target cost, and reap benefits You will develop a deep understanding of the Cleansheet Solution and propose how to apply it in a variety of industries. In this role you will perform product demos to consultants, clients in the form of workshops and conferences, and manage capacity to support Cleansheet Solution delivery working closely with solution leadership. You will work hand in hand with consultants to deliver Cleansheet analytics as part of engagements, and simultaneously develop and codify new knowledge for future use by the solution and the practice. You will be responsible for the successful deployment of the Cleansheet Solution and development of cost models to clients and consultants. You will be highly entrepreneurial, targeting low penetration industry verticals and growing the usage of the solution. Lastly, you will effectively deliver Cleansheets to target industries, growing Cleansheet Solution adoption, while providing a best-in-class experience for consultants and clients. You will also shape the future of the Cleansheet Solution, by working closely with the product development team to identify opportunities to improve the software and design key features that will help ensure ongoing successful delivery.
