Oferta: Regional Information Security Officer Miejsce pracy: Gdańsk Proposition: Reporting to the Associate Director Global Security Programs of Carrier, the Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) will have responsibility, accountability and oversight of the regional information security programs. This role will ensure the global cybersecurity program, governance and compliance functions are being executed consistently at the regional level, with a keen understanding of the approach that may be required for the specific region. The RISO will work in conjunction with Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering, as well as the Product Security teams, to ensure clear lines of communication for the structured security processes affecting the confidentiality, availability and integrity of Carrier systems and products in all markets worldwide. Competencies: Oversees and defines regional cybersecurity processes as part of the global cybersecurity program. Ability to identify the regional security processes and competencies requiring adaption to the unique risk and compliance profiles of individual regions. Participation and input on strategic planning and budget requirements for the global cybersecurity program. The primary point of contact between the CISO, Associate Director of Incident Response and the individual regions for security events warranting enaction of the incident response plan. Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels of cybersecurity, compliance and product engineering within the organization, including preparing communications for senior-level management regarding regional cybersecurity activities. Responsibilities: Collaborates on all cybersecurity and product security strategic efforts at the direction of the Associate Director of Global Security Programs. Creates the tactical plans and KPIs for to ensure alignment and consistency with global cybersecurity and reporting requirements. Provides oversight on various events and active threats occurring at the regional level, as identified by the Security Operations Center (SOC). Working with Compliance Shared Services Center, defines cybersecurity controls to address any region-specific regulatory compliance and privacy requirements. Works with the Product Security and the Product Engineering teams to provide technical leadership on implementation of regional product development and security requirements. Provide first-level evaluation of technology capabilities that may be required at the regional rather than global level and evaluate potential vendors to fill current technology/resource needs. Clearly communicate technical concepts to practitioners including senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders. Engage with the research and innovation stakeholders to identify and act on emerging technologies and connected product strategies that may benefit Carrier and its customers in the individual regions. Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated success and understanding of accepted frameworks such as, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, and NIST, including 800-53 and the Cybersecurity Framework. 5 years or more of broad technology or cybersecurity experience, with a focus on development and execution of global strategies. Relevant security certifications are desired (e.g., CISSP, SANS GSEC, CEH, CISM, etc.). In-depth knowledge of both U.S. and international regulatory compliance requirements and privacy laws, specific to information technology, industrial control systems, and/or connected products. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and technical skills. Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree in management or a related technical field will be a plus. Conversational skills in one or more non-native languages. Verbal and written fluency in two or more languages will be a plus. Experience with communicating and coordinating with external third-party technical and non-technical resources during routine SOC activities as well as active incident response. Demonstrated success implementing a Secure Product Development Framework and Secure by Design strategies for industrial control systems, commercial product hardware, firmware, applications, and connectivity protocols from design through implementation and product end-of-life. Direct experience within the SDLC, secure software design, cyber resilient architecture, threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, defense in depth and cyber defect planning & management. Experience leading, mentoring and supporting software and firmware development teams, especially in the areas of product security risk analysis, remediation and product security architecture and implementation.
