||Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Package Engineer to work on a rotational basis in Poland. Development of layouts for facilities Preparation of energy and material balances, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations and technical reports Compile RFQs, c/w specifications, scopes and data sheets Selection, specification and bid evaluation of mechanical equipment Vendor document review and approval Prepare mechanical calculations in accordance with the relevant Canadian and International Standards Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the industry Work in accordance with broad technical guidelines and with minimal supervision Skills / Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer or eligible to be registered with APEGA EPCM experience in engineering design of mechanical equipment Experience should include some level of Construction and Commissioning support preferably on site. Knowledge in either one or more of the following areas: Diesel Generators, Bulk Fuel Pumping, Water Treatment and HVAC packages Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them Working knowledge with ASME, API and EU codes will be required Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
