About the role

This is an exciting opportunity within our Derivatives Utility, based in Wroclaw. The Derivatives Utility provides customers with derivatives clearing operations and technology services for trade clearing, trade lifecycle management, margin processing, reconciliation and data management. The Derivatives Utility covers more than 135 cleared derivative markets in more than 35 countries

The FIS Derivatives Utility was designed to help global capital markets firms better adapt to market challenges by enabling market participants, including futures commission merchants (FCMs), to achieve greater efficiencies by leveraging economies of scale in middle- and back-office processing and technology.

You will join an experienced team ultimately focused on producing risk analysis for our clients. You will rotate through our margining, clearing and reconciliation teams - gaining exposure to all aspects of the Derivatives Utility business, as well as valuable experience in relation to the broader risk management function in the derivatives industry. The rotational program has noted assessment points built in, to allow for a review of your progression and to identify and gauge your strengths and interests. You will become a specialist and will perform the daily processes in a stimulating environment, learning from some of the most talented and knowledgeable people in their fields.

As you rotate through the different teams, your responsibilities will vary and typically include:

• Learn and enhance your knowledge of derivatives products and markets around the world
• Work in our on-site teams to learn the practical side of the world of derivatives
• Receive thorough on-the-job training on processes delivered by the team
• Operate on tools and applications commonly used among brokers on the market
• Cooperate with various stakeholders around the world such as: trading desks, middle offices and client relation teams; as well as external parties including: exchanges, brokers and institutional clients

Essential Skills Required:

• We are seeking recent graduates with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated, looking to be challenged
• Recent graduate in a financial or other numerate discipline
• Very good English skills
