Jeppesen Poland, a Boeing Company, has an opportunity for AvionX Systems Engineer position in AvionX Poland Team, located in Gdansk. The ideal candidate has prior engineering experience, preferably across multiple technologies and proactive attitude. The AvionX Poland team is a highly skilled, high performing engineering team supporting multiple product lines across Boeing AvionX.

  • Utilizing modern computer programming techniques, tools, languages and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems.
  • Performing engineering activities including development, integration and testing.
  • Influencing, innovating and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing.
  • Collaborating proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations.
  • Cultivating a positive staff culture, team motivation.
  • English proficiency
  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Demonstrated design and system thinking skills.
  • Experience in at least one high-level modern programming language.
  • Interest in low-level programming (embedded, kernel, etc.).
  • Interest in virtualization techniques (VirtualBox, QEMU, Vagrant, etc.).
  • Interest in working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.).
  • Interest in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
  • Interest in developing microservices.
  • Interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Collaborating in international and multi-national projects.
  • Technical degree in a related field of study and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
